The work up front, the detail within reach
Tommy Luck Consulting is a ticketing and revenue consultancy for theatre, concerts, tours and immersive experiences. We built Tommy's first website several years ago, and as both his portfolio and his list of services grew, it needed to do more: show the work properly, and let someone find the particular service they came looking for without wading through everything else.

The starting point
A portfolio that had outgrown its website
We built Tommy's original site a few years ago and it did what it needed to at the time. Since then the work has grown, and so has the range of services he offers, each one shaped around what his clients keep asking him for.
That left him with a website telling only part of the story. The projects he was proudest of had nowhere to sit, and the newer services were hard to find, which matters a great deal when someone arrives looking for one specific thing.
The design
In a visual trade, the visuals have to earn their place
Tommy works in a creative industry, where the people looking him up are swayed as much by what they see as by what they read. Both have to carry their weight, so the design leads with imagery from the productions behind the work and lets the copy sit alongside it rather than underneath it.
It is a single page. Everything a visitor needs sits on one continuous scroll, with quiet reminders of what Tommy has done and who he has done it for placed where they will actually be read, and a clear way to get in touch at each natural pause.
Search
A narrow field is worth staying focused in
The searches that matter here are specific, and there are not many of them in a month. There is nothing to gain from chasing volume and a fair amount to lose by blurring what the business is, so Tommy Luck stays squarely at the centre of the site. That is the name people are looking for.
The services still have to be visible, because someone arriving with a particular problem needs to see straight away that he handles it. Listing them all as plain copy would have turned the page into a soup of terms, so they sit in an accordion instead: each one named clearly, open to anyone who wants the detail, and out of the way of everyone who does not.
What we built
One page doing several jobs at once
Tommy Luck, front and centre
The brand stays the focus throughout, so the name people search for is the one the site is built around.
A design for a visual industry
Imagery from the shows and productions carrying as much weight as the words sitting beside it.
Services in an accordion
Each service named and expandable, so a visitor can find the one they came for without reading past the other six.
Quiet proof throughout
Previous work and achievements placed as gentle reassurance rather than a wall of logos and numbers.
Search suited to a niche
Specific, low-volume searches targeted deliberately, rather than broad terms that would only blur what Tommy does.
A way in at every stage
Calls to action at the natural pauses, so getting in touch never means scrolling back to work out how.
We've worked with Nialto Services Ltd on multiple projects over the past few years, and they've consistently been exceptional, genuinely unmatched in their field. No request is ever too big, and nothing is ever a problem for them. I'd highly recommend Nialto for any upcoming work.
Let's talk
Has your work outgrown your website?
If your portfolio has moved on since your site was built, or your services have grown into a list nobody can navigate, we would be glad to talk it through.
